How Much Do LED Neon Signs Cost in 2026? Real Prices From Our Catalog
Search for neon sign prices and you will find everything from $30 novelty lights to $3,000 quotes, which is not much help when you are trying to budget for one wall. So here are our actual numbers. We sell 145 premade LED neon designs at GetQuickSigns, every one in seven sizes, and the full catalog runs from $199.99 to $1,074.99. This post breaks down where your money goes inside that range and what changes when you go custom.
The real price ladder, size by size
Every premade sign we sell comes in seven sizes from 20 inches up to 50 or 59 inches wide depending on the design. Pulling the numbers straight from our catalog, here is what each size band costs across all 145 designs:
- 20 inch: $199.99 to $264.99. The entry point. Examples: Pizza Brah at $199.99, Apollo at $219.99.
- 25 to 30 inch: roughly $239.99 to $424.99. The most popular range for bedrooms and offices.
- 33 to 35 inch: roughly $319.99 to $584.99. Big enough to anchor a wall.
- 40 to 47 inch: roughly $399.99 to $884.99. Statement territory, common for bars and studios.
- 50 to 59 inch: $644.99 to $1,074.99. Storefront and backdrop scale.
Why does the same design cost five times more at 59 inches than at 20? Because price tracks the length of the lit tube and the sheet of acrylic behind it almost linearly. A design with lots of intricate line work, like the Rock Zone music sign, sits at the top of each band ($264.99 at 20 inches, $1,074.99 at 50 inches), while simple one-line designs sit at the bottom.
How that compares to the rest of the market
Two useful reference points. First, traditional glass neon: a custom glass sign typically costs $300 to $2,000 and up, with large or detailed work passing $2,500, according to Metro Center Sign Works. Second, the market itself is moving toward LED: the global neon signs market is projected to grow from $2.53 billion in 2025 to $3.63 billion by 2032, per Coherent Market Insights, and energy-efficient LED product lines are doing most of that growing.
We also compared neon against every other sign type we print in our 2026 price index, if you are still deciding what kind of sign you need in the first place.
What is included, and what to watch for elsewhere
At our prices, every sign includes the acrylic backboard, hanging hardware, a power adapter, and a remote with dimming. Shipping is free. When you see a dramatically lower price somewhere else, one of those pieces is usually missing, or the tube is thinner than it should be. The short version: a $79 neon sign is usually a 12 inch sign, priced before shipping.
What custom costs
Custom is where quotes replace price lists, because we are pricing your exact artwork. A simple one-word name sign lands near the premade equivalent of its size. Add a second color, a logo outline, or fine detail and the tube length grows, and the price with it. The honest rule of thumb from our quoting desk: most custom home and wedding signs land between $250 and $700, and most business logo signs between $400 and $1,100. If you want a real number, send your idea through the custom neon request form and we will quote it from the actual design, not a calculator.
Running costs are a rounding error
One cost people overestimate: electricity. LED neon flex draws around 3 to 4 watts per foot of tube, per Neon Filter’s measurements. At the 2026 average US residential rate of about 18 cents per kilowatt hour, per EIA projections, a typical 30 watt sign running five hours a night costs under a dollar a month. The purchase price is the whole cost of ownership, more or less.
Bottom line
Budget $200 to $330 for a quality 20 to 25 inch premade sign, $340 to $600 for the mid sizes most people actually buy, and $650 plus for the big statement pieces. Browse the full range with prices listed on every size in our shop.
