What Custom Signs Actually Cost: The 2026 Price Index
Most sign companies will not publish a price list. You fill in a quote form and wait. We would rather show you the numbers, so this is our full 2026 rate card – every material we print, priced per square foot, pulled straight from the live builders on this site.
Rigid signs: full 4′ × 8′ sheet pricing
A full sheet is 48″ × 96″, which is 32 square feet. This is the cheapest way to buy rigid material by area.

The full-sheet discount is bigger than most people expect
When you buy a rigid sign cut to a custom size you pay a per-square-inch rate. Buy the whole sheet and you pay the sheet rate. The gap is not small:
- Aluminum – $8.20 per sq ft as a full sheet versus $20.16 custom cut. That is 2.4×.
- J-Bond – $7.50 per sq ft as a full sheet versus $15.84 custom cut, roughly 2.1×.
The reason is straightforward: a custom cut leaves offcut nobody else can use, so it is priced into your job. If your design fits standard sheet dimensions, or you need several signs that can be ganged onto one sheet, you save real money. Our builders show how many signs fit per sheet as you change the size.

What is not in the price
- Double-sided printing costs more than single-sided on every rigid material.
- Finishing – grommets, hemming, pole pockets, rounded corners, standoffs.
- Contour cutting adds 10% and roughly 24 hours to production.
- Pantone colour matching may add 24–48 hours.
- Volume works in your favour – bulk sheet orders drop the rate.
Shipping is not a variable: free nationwide, and orders placed by 12:00 PM ship the next business day.
